New year’s resolutions are easy to make and hard to keep. We know that because by February we see our patients lamenting the fact they haven’t lost weight, haven’t exercised, and still feel pain.

One way around this is to not make any resolutions but look at your state of mind and your behavior.

A New You. In 2019, 71% of people resolved to eat better and healthier. Fifty-four percent resolved to lose weight. Eating healthy leads to losing weight, but not without a plan. Move More. Most of the strong points of regular exercise can be experienced with as little as 30 minutes of physical activity a day. Not only will you decrease your risk of obesity and diabetes, but you’ll also experience fewer headaches, back pain, and other neuro-musculoskeletal symptoms.
