Exercise regularly. With gyms being closed and social distance guidelines in place, you might be wondering how you are going to get exercise. Fight stress and emotional eating by being mindful of your stress triggers. Keep healthy snacks on hand, nourishing your body, protecting yourself to better deal with your anxiety.

Take a break. While it’s important to stay plugged in regarding the news and latest developments, the fluid nature of evolving communications can become overwhelming. Find a way to limit screen time. Go old school and bust out an old board game or a jigsaw puzzle and decompress from the news.

Connect with others. Text, FaceTime, Skype, email, or call an old friend, neighbor, or relative. Too much isolation leads to depression and anxiety. Making a point to connect with others helps alleviate loneliness and stress.
